ESM Postpones Decision on EU1b Pending Greek Bailout Tranche

(Bloomberg) —

The European Stability Mechanism board of directors postponed its decision on the disbursement of the remaining EU1b tranche for Greece as confirmation still needed that some payments for arrears clearance are fully executed, ESM spokesman says.

“Progress was made in relation to further arrears reduction by the Greek government”
Progress in the e-auction system, one condition for the release of disbursement “is considered satisfactory”
“The ESM Board of Directors stands ready to reconvene on this issue by conference call next week as soon as the confirmation is available”
The 1 billion euro tranche is available until June 15
