That threatens to put further pressure on prices, hurting the oil-dependent economies of the GCC.<\/p>\n<div data-view-uid=\"1|0_4_1_8\"><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Iranian oil supply will come to the market as early as today or tomorrow,&#8221; said Nayal Khan, the Riyadh-based head of institutional equities sales trading at Saudi Fransi Capital. &#8220;The market\u2019s recovery will depend on whether we can get oil back above $30.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Oil Pressure<\/h3>\n<p>Iran is targeting an immediate increase in shipments of <a title=\"Iran Kicks Off Plan to Boost Oil Exports as Sanctions Lifted\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2016-01-17\/iran-kicks-off-plan-to-boost-oil-exports-as-sanctions-lifted\" data-tracker-action=\"click\" data-tracker-category=\"recirc\" data-tracker-label=\"inline_link.03\">500,000 barrels<\/a> a day, Amir Hossein Zamaninia, deputy oil minister for commerce and international affairs, said on Sunday. It plans to add another half million barrels within months.<\/p>\n<p>Concern that Iran may exacerbate the global supply glut sent\u00a0Brent crude, a benchmark grade for more than half the world\u2019s oil, to a new 12-year low on Friday, helping to spur a global stock rout. The Standard &amp; Poor\u2019s 500 Index fell to the weakest level since Aug. 25 in the worst start to a year for U.S. equities on <a title=\"U.S. Stocks Slump to Lowest Since August After Retail Sales Data\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2016-01-15\/s-p-500-futures-signal-stock-losses-on-oil-intel-goldman-fall\" data-tracker-action=\"click\" data-tracker-category=\"recirc\" data-tracker-label=\"inline_link.04\">record<\/a>.
