Defusing it is expected to take most of the day.<\/p>\n<p>It will be Germany&#8217;s biggest post-war evacuation for an unexploded bomb, Spiegel news reports. In 2011, 45,000 residents of Koblenz were evacuated.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday there will be little traffic, making the Augsburg job easier.<\/p>\n<p>The evacuation will start at 08:00 local time (07:00 GMT) and could continue into the night, the local news website <a class=\"story-body__link-external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.augsburger-allgemeine.de\/augsburg\/Fragen-und-Antworten-So-soll-die-Evakuierung-ablaufen-id40033217.html?view=print\">Augsburger Allgemeine says<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media-landscape no-caption body-width\"><span class=\"image-and-copyright-container\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"responsive-image__img js-image-replace\" src=\"http:\/\/ichef.bbci.co.uk\/news\/624\/cpsprodpb\/2E53\/production\/_93095811_germanyaugsburg4641216.png\" alt=\"Map\" width=\"464\" height=\"261\" data-highest-encountered-width=\"624\" \/><\/span><\/figure>\n<p>The operation will affect 32,000 households living within a 1.5km (0.9 mile) radius of the bomb site. Schools, sports halls and an exhibition centre will accommodate the evacuees.<\/p>\n<p>Augsburg is about 80km (50 miles) north-west of Munich.
